| Shore & Country Real Estate rarely receives complaints from
renters about unclean or damaged vacation properties. Complaints
include floors that haven't been swept, rugs that haven't been vacuumed,
kitchens with unwashed sinks, dirty dishes on the counter, stale
food in the fridge, grease on and in stoves, dirty bathrooms, unwanted
items under beds, and damaged facilities. If you find any of these
or other unsafe conditions when you check into your vacation rental,
you should contact us immediately at 434-1695. We will notify the
owners so that they can deal with the situation as quickly as possible.
Please be mindful that we are not the owner's property manager.
Our exclusive function is that of an independent agency leasing
properties. We retain no ownership responsibilities and do not offer
hotel-like services. Shore & Country Real Estate and all tenants have agreed by
written lease that the tenants are to leave the property clean and
in satisfactory condition when they vacate the property. The owners
we represent are urged to provide cleaning equipment and materials,
including a mop, a working vacuum cleaner and replacement bags,
as well as a basic supply of cleaning products, paper towels, bathroom
paper, and light bulbs. We ask you to use and replace these materials
to make sure the property is suitable for yourselves and incoming
vacationers who, like you, have spent hundreds, perhaps thousands
of dollars for a little summertime rest and relaxation. You would certainly be turned off by walking into a messy home.

Estate asks your cooperation in making the vacation season a happy
and memorable time for yourself and those who will be sharing the
property you have rented. Most owners post in their homes a list of suggestions (do's and
don't's) . This is for your safety and enjoyment. Please become
familiar with whatever is provided upon your arrival at the property.
